I was once told not long ago that they have a minimum order charge.
So add to your list of parts or piggy back with someone else's order.

Don't be bern'in bridges with an outfit like these fine folks.
Cuzz won day yer gonna need'em for that part only "they" have.

Just me tawt's as the java kicks in............

Is your manual 40 years old? How about the rifle?

I seriously doubt that 35 cents is the going rate.

ok.... 35 cents was the old rate ..a fair price today would be $3.50 not an outrageous price of $30.00 ..the REMINGTON nylon mod 66 will be sold for parts . before i buy that bolt handle ..[ my rant for today]

Especially for older models, parts can end up costing a pretty bunch. Just the other day, I was asked to find an ejector for an early 1900s Winchester 94... that little part ended up costing $50. The person's opinion on the matter? ''At least now the rifle works.''

It's all about supply and demand.

I've purchased from WPG several times. They can be a bit pricey but they can save your bacon sometimes. $30 does sound a bit up there for .35 but at least it will make a sought after rifle function as it should. I bought a $14 scope rail from Brownells and got soaked 42 bucks to ship but i've recovered. Try Saskatoon Gun Shoppe.

well i saved some money i repaired the plastic bolt handle ..so all is well ..next gun show in Montreal is in march and will pick up a spare bolt handle ..thanks for the feed back ..

I bought a bolt from them once. It arrived and it was really rough and rusted. Sent it back. About a year later I tried to order something else and they didn't want to send me the part because I had sent that bolt back. :)

So you're mad that they want $30 for a part that was discontinued 25+ years ago? Supply and demand...

The reason they are rude is because they have to deal with nickel & dimers day in and day out
I phoned today looking for a Franchi butt stock.
I started with a " Howdy, hope you are having a good afternoon! I have a problem but I don't know if you can help."
" Well, thank you- I'll try, what are you looking for?:
" I've got a an early series 12 gauge Franchi 48AL that I a looking for a but stock for, shot in the dark I know, but thought I would check"
"Oh my, no we haven''t had one of those for a while!"
"Okay, thanks anyway."
" You are quite welcome!!"
The last few times i have either been in or phoned, it's always been the same, but I have a serial number or part number if I am looking for an obscure part.....

Make one.

It's a pretty good way to spend a little time with a file and some material of your choice.

If you really thought you prices were still good after all these years, you deserve to be laughed at.

Cheers
