Gauge will be on the bottom of the barrels.
ca. 1900.
Laminated steel. A type of welded steel, less expensive than Damascus.
Nominal value. This is a typical Belgian gun of the sort produced in vast numbers for export.
It's a low end Belgian gun with laminated steel barrels which is a low grade type of damascus. Can't tell you anymore without seeing the proof marks on the underside of the barrels. Value is around $150.00-$175.00 if it is shootable. $100.00 or so as a wall hanger if not. Many will not shoot old laminated steel barrels anymore and it is not designed for modern loads so a vary small market out there for something like this.
Thanks for the info guys.my bud had another pic he sent me but it was the s/n [in the 8000 series]
I'll ask him to see if he can take pics on the underside of tge barrels.
There seems to be some proof marks ontop if you can enlarge the pic.
There were two versions of Parkhurst IIRC. The one pictured here made in Belgium and the other version made in England.
I know my English one has `Machine Made`etched on one lockplate.
