Here are pics of a little Greener Mauser magazine rifle chambered in .303. Have owned this a couple years and havent researched it much. Thought I'd share pics to see if any Greener rifle experts could shed some light on when it might have been made and model and value, I'm guessing made between the wars as marked for MK VII .303 ammo. Bore is mint, receiver-sight is a Lyman 48 I think.

Very nice rifle, I have seen a couple Greener mausers in 303, not sure but if you look up Greeners web sight and send them the serial number they may be able to give you the date

Greener

The standing leaf is 100 yards and the idea is you raise the leafs according to estimated target range (more for looks than reality I think). Guess the Lyman receiver sight is period correct, but cant say I've put it on paper to see how well it groups. Bore is very nice so should do all right. Got it locally a couple years ago here in Victoria. I have seen the Greener site and might send pics and 25 pounds for their research offer, would be nice to know more. Not for sale, but will certainly let my CGN brothers know if I change my mind.
Cheers

Geoff, with that particular rifle and a quality .22lr you have this firearm thing by the short and curly's....everything else is superfluous.
James.

Ps, you are exhibiting marvellous taste by the way.
