W231 Powder price?

I ordered 3Lbs from my local Cabelas and took almost 5 month to get here, I think it was $31/Lbs? I back ordered some more.

If I had no pistol powder at all right now and I had to have it shipped, I would pay $55/lb. Sometimes, paying too much isn't so bad compared to doing without.

May I ask where you are finding W231? I can't seem to get it anywhere. Price is really subjective here - depends on how badly you need it.

I've just been placing back orders through Cabelas (for HP38 and Titegroup)...comes in regularly and you just need to stop in and pick it up.

$37.00 a pound, and with our Canadian dollar the way it is, I think it will go higher, if you can find it!

Ok, so why does Cabelas not stock more? The shelf is always empty. If you order 4 lbs of W231, why don't they order 40lbs then and put some on the shelf?

Somehow it sounds like they made a mistake powder was more than that in the mid eighties! But good for you! Eight dollars a pound.
