wabbit hunting with the 222

There is something like 14 diseases rabbits can pass on to other species.

Actually most of them readily transfer to dogs and only a few to humans. That is why it is a good idea to where rubber gloves when cleaning any viscera, and especially important for hunting dogs to have there medical shots up to date.

Black Bear, have shot most of my jacks south of Winnipeg along the Can/US border from Altona moving west. Thousands around Winnipeg area but way too many firearm ordinances. Look for alphalpha fields as they love the stuff after snow comes.

Don't know too much about cottontail other than they can be a real pest in metro areas. The snowshoe hare is super abundant some years in forested areas north and east of winnipeg.

Have hunted many snowshoehare in Moose Jaw district, much like Manitoba
grasslands. I found much success in the past, along bushy hillsides and riverbanks.

Only those German Hare recipes make these critters edible!
