Among the various posts is links to at least two versions of articles attributed to Ed Harris about how to make and store Ed's Red.
The batches that I made up have still not melted through the containers shown in that thread - so far, so good - each are perhaps still 50% or more full. From what I saw mixing acetone with ATF (that is 1/2 of Ed's Red), it would not really mix - sitting on work bench in clear pop bottle, over several days, would see the ATF go down and Acetone go up - so had to be shaken vigorously before using it - at that point looks sort of "pink" - like Milk of Magnesia. I can not see into the Ed's Red with Acetone container - so I have been keeping it capped and shake it again before using it.
