Hey guys,

Between buy-in-Canada and buy-in-USA options, what are the best deals in waders right now?

I don't care about camo patterns -- plain brown works fine for me. They need to be able to last for a few km of walking tidal flats, so lighter neoprene or other light material is fine.

My last pair was an execrable set from C-Tire, which fell apart after one year. That was seven years ago -- I've been patching them up ever since. And I want to buy new ones. I have been thinking about maybe buying LL Bean, as they have a lifetime guarantee (I think) and I can easily return them to the factory, as it's an afternoon's drive away. But with the CAD$ in the crapper, also would consider an equivalent pair from Canada. None I know of have lifetime warranty up here, though.

Simms if you want to buy them once,

Lacrosse make ok neoprenes to last a few seasons. I have both and I use the Lacrosse for cold weather but the Simms are bulletproof and work great,

Cabelas.ca brand gets pretty good reviews.

Simms is more known for fishing waders sans boots are they not?

the bass pro brand red head has lifetime warranty.
currently on my third pair in about 9 years.
first pair i hapen to step on an antler shed, freaky luck, felt pain, didnt break skin but made a hole in the bottom of the shoe. second pair got a tear from some wire underwater around the back of the knee area while fishing.

Thanks! This is exactly what I am looking to find out, as long as they stand behind their warranty.

I had those once and they sucked. What good is a great warranty if you're soaked and freezing in a bog somewhere or had a long awaited fishing trip ruined by leaks/holes? I don't understand why people think this way,

simms are fantastic waders but a little high end for hunting use.
My go to brand for work waders and hunting waders is BARE- Fitzwright, Canadian company based out of BC and in the business of making waders for a few decades now.
both neoprene and breatheable and can be ordered with boot foot instead of sockfoot(fishing)

My hunting waders are a 15 year old pair of BARE Ultralights , which are no longer made, I wouldn't trade them for anything from cabelas or basspro.

Simple. I think any waders will leak, no matter the price tag. I'm better off with a pair that I can replace quickly when that happens, instead of a pair I can't afford to replace because they won't stand behind the warranty.

I could be wrong. Maybe I have just never had good waders. But from what I hear on the American duck hunting forums, they all leak, just a matter of when.

You're right, you haven't worn good waders,
