I got lucky, I walked into a store last week that had 3 on the counter (a Kel Tec dealer who does not advertise these) and asked how long it would be for me to wait to get one. They sold me one on the spot. Had they said no or made me wait a year, I would not have blown my top. They are what they are, if you can get one great, but no one is entitled to one.

As far as I am concern there should be no list anywhere. When a product is received and in stock, it should be advertised. That will stop all that BS...

Couldn't agree more; I was on the list, and was informed of the circumstances by what I consider to be one of the best, stand-up vendors on this site. They made a rational, and smart business decision. Ultimately, it will probably save them money by not having to deal with the logistics of phantom guns.
I made my decision that I was going to move-on from waiting on Kel Tec's production schedules. Life is too short, and there are many guns waiting on shelves for my hard earned dollars!

You are right, there should be no list. Product comes in, advertised and sold first come first served. It would be a heck of lot less work for any retailer to do it this way as well.

I was on the list. About 2 years. Well it's a cool firearm but I've moved on. It's no big deal. If you want one just over pay for it.

Were those the clearance ones going for $625.00 ? It was some pretty good luck if you found some, now you can sell it on EE for 8 grand if no more come into Canada.

I feel I need to comment on this..... I agree 100%!! I have felt the same way about this for a very long time. Wolverine has initiated a deposit system now on pre- orders which is a huge improvement but back then that is all their was.... waiting lists. If you ask me, and I realize your not, I think it would be far less hassle and cost for EVERY dealer if they said nothing about future inventory and announced it only when it is landed, in stock and ready for sale. Then they would not have to deal with the relentless onslaught of people such as myself who express their opinion and get labelled a whiner. That label really isn't fair. Like so many I'm just a customer who waited.
2 people in the same boat your two entirly different ways of reacting. Look around buddy, you are the odd one out here as no one shares you view. And sorry I was not trying to make you jelous, and owning a KSG does not make one a hypocrite.... why are any of us wasting our time one here this thread is pointless and Im sure the only reason it is still open is that Wolverine knows it only helps their buisness when silly stuff like this gets posted. Actually, some people have a secondary dual purpose one right under their nose that sh!t comes out of. It is where the other famous saying "talking sh!t" comes from. The whining here is from those who blessed with that second orifice.
And the entitlement comes from making a stink over something that you paid ZERO for, and suggesting they should have offered you something for them having the privilege of being on a list for a product YOU ASKED FOR.

I remember a time when members of CGN could express their opnions in open forums or dealer forums regarding dealer issues without having everyone and their dog jump in and take a cheap shot just because they feel differently. Now THAT sounds more like entitlement to me. Man have things ever changed on here. I've never been a trouble maker on here. I have supported many dealers and the EE and sorry if I offended anyone with my posts however if speaking your mind earns the ban hammer so be it. All I did was express my opinion. SORRY!

You remember such a time? Funny, in over a decade of being a member here, when someone says something stupid in regards to a respected dealer here everyone, including their dog, AND cat jumps on them and sorts them out putting things in back in perspective, and bringing order back to the thread. If there was another time, I must have been sleeping through it.
And there is nothing to be sorry about in expressing your opinion.
It is the continued digging of the hole that you might want to feel sorry about.
PS - the hint should be obvious by now that Wolverine has won the respect and support they have through how they handle things, and that respect and support is reflected in the amount of people coming to their defence (including other dealers) when they see people imply that they are lacking in "principals" or "integrity", or some of the other BS attacks on Wolverine Supplies, its owner, and employees in this thread.

No hole digging here buddy. Look what's happened here so far..... I stated my opinion on the way I felt Wolverine handled THIS ONE situation.... That's it! That's all! Almost every strong reactive post since has been implying that I am trashing what is arguably Canada's premier firearms retailer. You think I don't know that they built that on integrity, best customer service, friendly sales staff that are always on stand by to chat at all times and I could go on. I get it! How so many things get taken out of context surprises me, or how some jump to so many conclusions. I'm not looking for a debate with anyone but I don't like being bullied either. Demand has spiked and they couldn't even keep up with it to begin with they basicly can't get parts to make more since every company seems to be looking for parts lots of gun companys can't get basic parts to finish the rifles they need to get out let alone the extra demand. Basicly supply hsa dryed up till this blows over or something changes.
I think the cost of it has also gone up ie production cost have gone up so they have to charge more for it and since that happend the company bringing them in ie wolverine would lose money by bringing them in.
Basicly they can't get them and the price went up the supplier can't get more and the company making them can't make them right now because of running out of parts to make them.
