Business move, nothign more.

Walmarts in Liberal Land will no longer sell guns and ammo because they were not selling much to begin with.

Walmarts that are not in Liberal Land and have sold good amounts of guns/ammo in the past will continue to sell guns/ammo.

Same thing is happeingin in the states.

I was told the same thing at the Canadian Tire at Taunton and Garden in Whitby. Ammo cabnet was empty when I went there.
Two weeks later the ammo cabinet was so full, I stocked up on a whole bunch of stuff :D

M.M. bought it at K-Mart. Bought 100 rounds of Winchester 12ga at Walmart last week for $20, good special I figure.

You should see the Canadian Tire on the south hill here in Red Deer. I hear tha guy that runs this one is a gun nut. CZ, Winchester, Ruger, Mossberg, Remington, Savage, Browning, Pretty much every type of pistol & rifle ammo you can think of. Tasco & Bushnell scopes(nice ones not just the economy models) The people behind the counter are usually knowleagable, And don't give you attitudes. Never seen another CT like it.

Pffft....no big deal. Never bought ammo there in the first place. I make it a practice not to buy ammo for my guns at the same place where I can buy paper to wipe my ass.

Support your local gun store.

And they will continue to do so.

Lets say one out of 50,000 Walmart shoppers in Mississauga buys ammo and one out of 500 Walmart Shoppers in Kenora buys ammo............If you where managing both, what store would you continue to sell ammo at????

I dont have a local gunstore really, so If I dont happen to be passing by Epps during a trip south once a month or so then I rely on Walmart and CT selling at least .22lr and 12ga/20ga shotshells.

My "local" gun store is a two hour drive away...one way! For the guys who don't reload, Wal-Mart & Cdn. Tire are just about the only game in town when it comes to ammo. Most of the small Mom & Pop stores and local hardware stores got out of the business after C-68 came along.

most walmarts in the us are losing there ammo and guns also been on many other sites discussing this. i know if it is going to happen to the usa you can be sure it will happen here also. i just hope like hell ctc does not drop ammo. like alot of people here have said if you don,t live near a gun shop there is usually a ctc in your town.
