Walmart Bushnells

I've owned Elite 3200's, Legends, and Banners and I would no longer wipe my ass with them.

The eye releif alone is enough to put the fear of god into you when you get railed by the eye piece in the face.

I had an FXIII 6X42 (mucho relief) on my .338F, shot great SUB-MOA all day all night. Sold the FX in a moment of poverty and thought "ah hell I still got a 3200 in the corner I havent used...its a decent scope."

Went to the range and I couldnt get tighter than 3-4"...you know why? because I got friggin hammered in the face 3 times out of 20 when I shot it...yah...little .338F driving that damn bell into my head..because Bushnells realistically have 3-3.25" of eye relief.

Leupold or Redfield for me...thanks.

Learn to hold onto the gun or get some decent tone to your neck and shoulders.

I had my arm crushed in a accident and even with permanent damage done i can shoot my friends .338 win mag over and over again without getting scoped and after losing all the weight from surgerys and hospital stays i weigh 140 lbs.

If you are getting scope bite it is not the scopes fault, look at your technique or toughen up a bit, but don't blame the scope.;)

Yah Dave...I never thought of any of that

Never said yo didn't think about it but thinking about it and doing it are two different thing's, you can think about mowing the lawn but if you don't actually get out the mower the grass never gets cut.

You're completely right Dave. Give me a minute while I pull my head outta my ass.

Sometimes when you ask for opinions, they don't agree with yours. - dan

And if you ask Leupold owners, lots of them won't let it go until your opinion agrees with theirs. Or even if you don't ask them.

For a quiet life, just smile and thank them and then go do what you want and don't tell them about it. Especially when it turns out they were right. :)

Well, I've had to make use of Bushnell, Tasco, Redfield (back in the day, not the new company), Leupold, Supersniper (really Hakko) and Zeiss (Weaver too, now that I think of it). So far, Leupold has the best warranty. I guess with this new policy that may change, we'll see. But I have experienced Bushnell warranty in the past, and if you (or anyone, not you personally) think theirs is better then Leupold's, you're in for a rude surprise based on my experience. FWIW - dan

the best warranty is the one you never use.but if you need that warranty it is nice to know they stand behind their products.if i were to spend 200 dollars on a bushnell i would expect some warranty but not the kind of warranty i should get from a 5-700 dollar leupold or an even more expensive scope.you really do get what you pay for.that said i have had/still own some weaver, bushnell, tasco and a simmonds.had one 100 dollar busnell screw up sent it back had a new scope in my hand in less than 2 weeks.that scope is still on my 22 today.
