Walnut stock for M1A

They won't ship stocks with a price of over $100 to Canada. Watch for an opportunity if they are currently over that limit. They have sales from time to time.

or if you dont't want to wait for a sale on a finished one, buy the unfinished one and do it yourself. I did it with no previous finishing experience and it turned out great. Used tung oil

Great job...sad thing is I find myself turned on by another guys wood
Looks like the old Boyds has moved up two notches in the must have department.
Just Tung oil eh ? The stocks must be in great shape even unfinished.
Well done again.

I have ordered both M1 & M14 stocks from boyds,good service
and decent turn around times.Specials work and I have broken
up the shipments also.More money or course.

Thanks guys, and yes it was just tung oil. i think 5 coats. really not that hard to do, but on mine, as well as others, the stock did require some minor dremel work for the receiver and trigger group to fit nicely.

That would be a misunderstanding. I have received 5 of their various stocks and am very happy with the quality.
I just finished communicating with Boyds ( Cameron). They will NOT ship to Canada. They would not even extend a $ 4.00 discount so it would be legal to ship a stock north. They do not offer unfinished stocks either. They referred me to some extraneous website that does not even offer M1A/M14 stocks. Go figure.

well thats Very strange because i've ordered 2 of them. finished both and have one just laying around collecting dust...for now. Might be willing to part with it if the price was right

i received TODAY my garand boyds stock.i got a factory seconds stock and both handguards
all unfinished.to my door just under 110 USD.
order online and they ship but it must be under 100 before shipping.a seconds stock was 30 bucks and it is beautiful!
i believe the heel of the stock is not perfect--uneven but not really noticable.i applied my first coat of BLO.it's gonna
look great...

Keep an eye on treelinem14.com. Wood stocks are sold out at the moment but he will post some more soon. Best thing about treeline is that they are beautifully refinished and you can choose the stock you want.

Strange indeed, I've never had any problems with multiple orders placed this year. The key obviously is the $100 limit, per order. Shipping is a tad pricey that way but the product is worth it. What buttplate is on your stock? The finished stock looks sweet.
