Well, Jeremy, its your transfer that has been stalled......
It really would be worth your time to write to Ministers Day and Toews, explain the situation to them, and ask that they resolve it administratively. It would be a win-win situation for them. They could demonstrate that they are dismantling a ridiculous situation created by the Liberals, and it would be a good will gesture to folks who are known supporters.
 
Thanks for clearing that up, Jeremy. I hope you get your rifle. My wife loves hers, and will not part with it. She fears that "they will come and take it away".

To the best of my knowledge, this is the only piece of property we own that the government will not let us sell.

I wonder if any G-22's have shown up in an estate yet? How does an executor handle the transfer of an asset that cannot be transfered?

Actually I did. Well sort of. My dad is in LE and I happen to shoot with a few more cops. I asked them and none of them even knew what a walther g22 was.
They all found it interesting and were going to do some checking for me.

You see most cops tend not to know every single little bit of information in the grand cluster #### that is the Canadian firearms act which is why they are the wrong person to ask legal questions to. On the other hand the RCMP forensics is much better schooled. I have someone who is going to call this in and see what comes up.

I'll post when I hear of a reply.
 
What you have been saying is exactly opposite of what Jeremy has experienced attempting to do this transfer. If you have any hard data that would be of use to him, why not let him know? I'm sure he would like to see this transfer proceeed.

Red Star, if all this stuff you're saying is true, that this gun is in fact 100% non-restricted, then how come my transfer wasn't approved??? Obviously this info of yours, aka your bullsh**t is just that, one big a*s warm pile of bullsh**t.

that can be arranged as long as you don't mind ione designed for cleaning septic tanks and porta pottys out. i just happen to have one lying around :eek: :D

It is now being reassesed which means it "may" go prohib.. there you were right but the class hasn't changed yet.. still non-restricted. RCMP has frozen all sales of them untill the final verdict is reached. There are you happy now? I got lucky pure and simple.
