Hey there, guys. I haven't posted for a while as I've been training with the forces in Quebec. I just got home on leave yesterday and I picked up a box with a replacement stock in it that I had ordered sight unseen from a gentleman called John Dell. As you know it's hard to get a replacement stock for a G43 and mine was sporterized around the grip area which made me really sad.
I received the stock today. The price was about 6 bills, and the quality really blew me away. It's a nice unfinished laminate of the same thickness and color as the originals. The inletting was probably computer controlled since I test-fitted the receiver and metal bits and they all fit perfectly without dremelling. Literally all I have to do is put an original looking finish on the wood and pop the metal into it!
I just wanted to give John a big thumbs up on the forums for hooking a guy up with a very hard to get parts set (stock and handguard) and really coming through with a quality product. If anyone needs a stock for their G43 I can give them his email.
