Walther just released a new optic ready polymer frame pistol PDP

It wasn't a serious question I own four Walthers it's just a dig at the Glock fans that think it's a big deal that so many police forces use Glocks.

I know, I just didn't want to quote the fellow from the page before that insinuated no police forces use it, your post seemed like a good opportunity to get the info out there

That video almost predates the internet. Where on earth did you find it. Ot has to be 18 years old if it a day.

I know but I love it so much. :d

It's what I always picture anytime somebody says only cops should have guns or in this case that whatever cops are carrying is superior.

Seems a design flaw? I was kind of worried about the optic cut is going so deep (even exposes partial of striker components).

After read the comments and few more afterthoughts, people may overthink just based on their hypo.

Time will tell, I watched this video. But I'm sure Walther did a bit of testing prior so I'm not too concerned. Apparently the factory Walther optic plates for the PDP fit pretty tight. The striker was exposed on the PPQ with the optic plate removed as well, not a big deal.
Internet posters are often proved wrong in their assessments. Europeans don't usually send products to market without extensive testing.

So he has no proof it's just what he thinks? Well I still want one anyway.

The proof is if there's no recoil lugs on the plate the screws will be the weak point. FN has the best pistol mounting system right now and every other factory option is inferior unless you go custom/direct mount.
