Walther KKJ-T, source for rear aperture match sight ‘anti glare tube’

The front of the sight has very fine female thread. Would anyone happen to know the thread size and diameter, or source of such info?

I’m also wondering if anyone knows where I could buy an ‘anti glare tube’ that can be screwed onto the front of rear aperture match sight.

Walther parts are not so easy to get ahold of, keep an eye on tradex's website as Anthony tend to have an ever revolving selection of site sets for the walthers

Better off to have a machine shop make one for you. The tubes are prohibitively hard to find even when the guns were new.

Even finding a NOS stock set would be a killer.

Personally, spend the 380.00 at Nordic Marksman and get a CENTRA setup. Just my .02

The thread is M18 x 0.5 mm. Taps and dies available at Victor Machinery Exchange Inc. In the US, but do ship to Canada via parcel post.
 
Thanks guys! Great advice.

I like shooting traditional so will seek out the Gehmann tube. Ive bought iris’s from Cibles before.

First test drive after cleaning the action and trigger assembly earlier this mrn. Most five shot groups with open sights were sub .5’s, off the benchrest (with RWS Championship) mind you. Trigger break makes the Yodave mods on my brno’s seem almost sub parr (and they are great). Can post pics when I figure out how.

I have been spoiled and expect that the quest for Walthers will not end w the KKJ-T. Obsession can be a very good thing.
