Walther KKJ Trigger Adjustment Screw Question
I have a newly acquired KKJ-M (mag and aperture type target sights - all Walther).
The rifle is in great shape and an excellent shooter.
In my desire (stupidity?) to lighten the trigger pull I adjusted the appropriate screw and was successful in getting the trigger let off down to 2.4 pounds. Now for the problem: After my final turning of the screw I had apparently loosened it to the point that it fell out and I did NOT notice that it had. I cannot find that little sucker.
The rifle dry fires just fine without the screw.
My question: is this an OK situation, i.e., can I continue to use this rifle without the trigger adjusting screw in place given the fact that the trigger will no longer need to be adjusted - it is now where I want it.
I would gladly buy a new screw, but I expect none are available.
Your help will be much appreciated.
