Walther mag question.

Well, I have both a PP and a PPK.
My PP mags do fit in the PPK but they stick out the bottom as they are a bit longer.
Inversely PPK mags do NOT work in the PP as they are too short to latch the mag catch.
There are also two types of PPK mags, the "older" style are smooth on both sides, the "newer" ones have a ridge along the left hand side. If you have a pistol with a "ridged" mag well, BOTH styles will fit. Otherwise, older non-ridged models can only accept non-ridged mags.
The PPK/S which was made by Interarms for the U.S. market, uses a PP style mag in the PPK/S to allow it into the American market, it allows it to hold one extra round.
As well, the .32 (7.65mm) mags will work with 9mm Kurz (.380 Auto). I have a 7.65mm PPK mag in my .380 ACP, works flawlessly.
