Walther optic plate order and delivery

what really ticks me off is that we are not trying to order something new here - we bought these when we bought the gun, they just can't be bothered to send it to us. kinda like theft.

Been in contact......many times.

same ol story. Back ordered.

Problem is....the guys in the US, get theirs from Walther USA......Gravel has to import from Walther Germany.
 
yeah still waiting here too...8 months now. utter BS...the plates should be included with the gun if they can't provide them within a reasonable time frame
 
There is hope. Waited 11 months but this morning received email that my plate has been shipped. Viper/Venom/Doctor new gen. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

I have been in contact with their customer service via email multiple times. Always get the same response...the situation is out of their control, as they are waiting for the plates from Walther. Gravel must be really low on the totem pole with Walther, if they can't even get an adequate shipment to cover their customers that have been waiting for a year lol.
 
Anyone still waiting for their optic plate? I'm at 1.5 years now, and the story hasn't changed from Gravel. Still no ETA on when I will finally get the plate for my Q5 SF. Meanwhile I see people in the US getting plates within days or at most a few weeks. I don't think I am ever going to get it at this point.
 
I just talked to Gravel again, and this time I found out some more details. It turns out they haven't received any of the Q5 Trijicon plates in the past 2 years. There are 58 outstanding orders for that plate that haven't been filled, dating back to August of 2022. Of the 58 outstanding, I am number 8 in line.

The nice lady I spoke with said that Walther fullfills their US and military orders first, and only if there is "surplus" beyond that, do they then send out product to other countries (Canada being one of who knows how many in that group). I am not hopeful that I will ever get this bloody plate. Thanks Walther
 
I finally received my PPQ Q5 Match SF Optics Plate yesterday (part # 2828359). The order was placed May 4th 2023, so it took approximately 14 months.
