Walther p22 target or gsg 1911 22

walter is a bit small on the grip size, gsg would be my pick. I own a GSG and would buy another in a heartbeat.

+1 for the Gsg...bought one as my first pistol, sold it on ee a couple of years later....regretted it and bought another...fun pistol.

I've heard nothing but problems with these guns, along with the Sig Mosquito.

GSG all the way. Gives the feel of a real gun. Walther is very small and feels plastic, this from a Glock fan.

I have gsg 1911. Good buy. Shot over 7k of ammo. No parts replaced. I was stuck between buying a gsg or walther like you. Only heard bad reviews and negative comments from others about walther p22. I suggest gsg all the way.

i got a gsg and it had major jamming issues the first time i went to shoot it.

i came home and googled it and apparently alot of people had issues with overspray in the slide and on the top rails on the frame....sanded that all down, made it nice and smooth, took it back to the range and put 200 rounds through it, i got about 9/10 rounds to fire of the cheapest ammo the range had. pretty happy with it now. if i can get some better .22 i think it will be flawless especially after putting a few more rounds through it to break it in.

Super fast service, and they ship parts to your house if its a small part. I had my safety left go bad, and got one replaced in no time. I love my GSG, just wish they would reinforce the slide notch.
