Walther P22 to buy or not to buy

I'm looking for a .22 Pistol and the P22 really caught my eye. I'm just curious to know how reliable, how accurate and generally how well the gun is built.

The gun is built well, very ergonomic for smaller hands. Great feel, easy to operate. Accurate, but somewhat picky on ammo.

It's a good reliable German .22, but fits in a girls hand. Get the GSG1911.

They now have a 22 version of the Walther PPQ called the Walther P22Q Target 22lr. I saw it on Sporteque's website for $449.99 + tax.

I bought a P22 new around 2005. The pistol has fed and shot all kinds of ammo well. It is true the grip is small, best for those with less than large hands. My hands are huge, but with the extra palm swell inserts I have never had a problem. One advantage to its handle and overall size is it is less intimidating for the inexperienced ladies to shoot, easier to hold for small hands. Also, I like that the pistols frame and overall size is nice and compact. Its comforting for me to know that IF I ever had to carry this on my person I could do so with no difficulty and completely out of sight.

I have been considering selling the P22 for some time now, but haven't bothered since its been a good pistol. That being said its been almost 10 years and I'd like to try something new. Maybe something for the .22 in a combo pistol chambered for center fire. If you are interested in seeing some pics of mine let me know.
