The P99as was the pistol that turned me on to Walther. Now they're all I shoot. I have a SW99 .45 as well. If you can imagine a 99as in .45acp....

I have the P99as in 9mm and a 1st Gen P99 in 40. I love them too. Definitely my favourite compact polymer gun. I hear you - they are very comfortable and are fun just to handle and manipulate.

I had to put the smallest grip and lowest front sight post on mine out of the box. Perfect fit now. Still prints a bit low up close. She has about 5000 rounds of 9mm down the pipe ... yes ... addictive ...

No way I could afford to feed one in .45

Fact! Only advantage to the 99AS/SW99 is the decocker. My PPQ M2 trigger is amazing for a striker gun.

Excuse my ignorance...if the 99AS is DAO striker fired, where does a decocker come into the picture?
