Walther P99

I'm thinking about purchasing the Walther P99. I would like to get some feedback on this handgun and what you might think. Thinking of getting it in
9mm. Also what should I go for... the P99 SA (Anti Stress Trigger) P99 QA (Quick Action Trigger) or the P99 DAO. Pictures would be great too.

There are better choices than Walther's P99 out there such as a SIG P226 (to Hell and back reliability), Glock, HK USP, Steyr MA-1, S&W M&P, Springfield XD series, the list goes on and on.
As for pics, they all look alike or just go to the manufacturers website.

The walther is a dream to handle, but for reliability and durability it leaves much to be desired.

HKs are great but I don't find them ergonomic in the least as well as glocks. I would +1 the sig or something more designed around a hand rather than some rectangular block

I loved my P99. Great to handle, very accurate for me. It does feel kind of cheap (plasticy) but most polymer guns feel that way to me; you will get used to it. If you can find one for a good price, I think it's a great buy. Don't spend too much over $1000 though.

I had the standard DA/SA trigger. I actually liked it once I got used to it. The SA reset is fairly short.
