Walther PDP Aftermarket Trigger

there's also the overwatch trigger and a mod you can do to the sear to get to about the same place as the walther dynamic (which comes with a modified sear). not sure about current availability of the walther unit - there was about 9 months of nothing in canada. for the overwatch you have to use an importer (mebbe there's a vendor in canada now ...). well worth the cost; my q5 sf makes me more happier than my full-retard cgw shadow 2.

PDP has good enough trigger to me, of course you cannot compare it with some SAO hammer pistol.
Generally speaking the improvement on strike fire pistol will be very minimum by using after market triggers. This is my experience after having done the trigger job on lots of strike fires such as p320, mp2, etc.
PDP has one of the best triggers among strike fires. I wouldn’t bother to change anything

I was just looking at the PDP SD Pro coming out with the Walther upgrade trigger the poster above mentioned, and that looks to be about as good as trigger out there. This guy reviewed it and shows it compared with the standard one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fgc8mo_jB_0

It looks great too. But if you like more bling, I'm sure there are alternatives from Apex or whatever.

Not sure on the price of the trigger... but you could get on the no-money-down pre-order list from Marstar for the SD Pro (they're saying $1000-1200), sell your PDP for at least what you paid because of the crazy frenzy we're in, and then you'd get the upgraded trigger, and a cool mag-well, threaded barrel (if that's cool to you) for barely anything extra.

That being said.. it might just be better to get the trigger alone due to all the uncertainty and speculation :p

I have a no-money-down preorder for SD pro with Marstar. But I doubt they would be able to fulfill it.
The first preorder batch showed up around Jan this year with promise of delivery in March. Then in March it was pushed to June.
Now in June they started second batch without down payment. That makes me wonder what’s going on there.

That being said, I wouldn’t even sell one of my 2 PDPs (one is completely new and unfired) before I get hand on PDP SD Pro

Merely a suggestion for people that can't afford to keep 'em all :)

Personally, I really like that Marstar is even offering this option. If they get them, awesome. Just hope they don't allow more on the list than they're supposed to receive. If they don't get them or not enough, no money wasted. RDSC also takes pre/back orders but they are requesting a 50% non-refundable deposit on theirs (not sure if they have the PDP SD Pro but just as an example of other retailers). So if they never show up, or they show up and the transfer doesn't complete, you're stuck with half your money gone and hope they have something else you need.

The price Marstar is offering it for "$1000-1200", while I'm sure this model will get priced at the high end, is very reasonable compared to other retailers as well. Some are charging $1200 just for the normal PDP, without the expensive trigger and magwell.
