Walther PPQ 22 M1 in Canada?

I shoot primarily european style pistols, as such they have the paddle type mag release on the trigger guard. Its is definitely my preferred set up but I am looking to have a slightly cheaper practice tool. I see that in the states they have the PPQ 22 M2 as they prefer the mag release button as on the PPQ M1 in 9mm. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the PPQ M1 22 in Canada? The Walther site is a little goofy as they don't but do list the PPQ M2 22 even as they market and distribute them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 22 PPQ is only being made in the M2 configuration. At least at this time. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
