WALTHER PPQ FROM CANADA AMMO QUICKIE GUN ####...and a quick review :)

If you like the P99 then you will love the PPQ, lots of improved designs, in fact the PPQ is a totally new design, only the magazine is barely interchangeable between the two I believe.

not quite. there are actually several similarities. google. if you like a constant trigger, ppq. if you like sa/da set up, p99. the feel of p99 sa trigger and decocker won out for me. anyway they are both great guns and Can Am has the best deal around on both.
 
never owned a P99 because of the sa/da, I prefer a constant trigger, looks like the barrels are interchangeable between P99 and PPQ, I'm sure the P99 shoots just as good :)

a ppq?
I had it and sold it to another CGNer. Nice piece, I could not get over the threaded barrel and I found the ppq very snappy compared to my other 9mm.

I will get a 5" ppq if they ever released them, that is, if they make them with a paddle release

Some guys in the states have taken the barrel and slide from the 5" and put it on the M1 paddle frame.
 
What is the problem that some have with the threaded barrel? That it sticks out? Just do not understand this criticism. This is an amazing gun.

in mine, the thread protector would fall off after certain amount of rounds, and not having it on might be ok but I like it on, so...there is that....
