This is probably a really obscure issue, but I've got a M5 Match in polymer frame and steel frame. I got the DPM Recoil spring for the polymer while back, works great. I got the same kit for the Steel Frame and I can't get the slide lock to close properly, its pushing against the spring somehow.

What I can't figure out, is comparing the diameter of the OEM spring with the DPM one they're identical. So I haven't a clue what it's catching on, anyone with experience here?

Quick update I found out the difference. There's a little half moon notch that fits into the OEM recoil rod, this isn't present in the polymer version.

The DPM version doesn't have this, actually easy fix now that I finally figured it out.
