Walther PPQ Q5 Match 9mm ####

Just got a PPQ M2 5" and loving it so far...best striker fired gun I've used. Was originally looking for a Q5 but couldn't justify the price difference, got a great deal on the Apex trigger upgrade for it.

Price difference is justifiable if you plan on running a reddot sight. I had a PPQ M1 navy and could shoot it well, but with the reddot optic I'm a better shot hands down.

For sure, if your intentions are to run and optic I'd say hands down its the way to go but I already have a pistol with optics and felt the standard M2 5" is the way to go cost wise for a non optic pistol. YMMV

I have two PPQ M1s...love them both. I've decided to get one of the Q5s, however. May flip one of my M1s and finally pull the trigger. Decided to get into IPSC and the Q5 is a well regarded pistol for that. My G17 just doesn't feel balanced enough to compete with, and my Sig 226 feels a little on the heavy side. I wish I still had my G34, but I think the Q5 will be a fine replacement.

Now I just have to start the process of checking on stock at dealers. There was one on EE recently that I missed out on.

Stocking dealers:

- Armurerie Leger
- Bullseye London
- Club de Tir
- Corlane Sporting Goods
- Dante's
- Island Outfitters
- Londero Sports
- Rona Express
- Shooter's Choice
- Silvercore
- Tenda
- Wanstalls

Do you know of any dealers that stock (or will order) extra recoil spring assemblies?

On that note...what OEM RSA's are available for the Q5 Match? I find the ejection a bit lazy, for my IPSC Prod loads (147s...PF of about 130) I am thinking the slightly lighter RSA (the red one) might be the ticket.

I have one Q5 Match (and another one on the way) Nice piece of kit!
