Hello folks !
Anyone able to confirm if both recoil rod/spring assembly are the same.
Looking to buy a stainless rod/ spring from FOC, they have Creeds, i need one for my PPX.

If I were you I would pause with buying a stainless rod/spring from FOC. I bought one and installed it on my Walther PPX. With the original plastic rod/spring assembly I've never had any hiccups. However, with the stainless rod/spring assembly I started having FTF/FTE. On top of it, during field stripping which is extremely simple for the PPX, the slide, during forward movement, started catching on the stainless rod/spring assembly and I had difficulty with removing it. I measured the diameters of the front and end spring caps and on the original assembly (plastic rod) they are a few hundreds of millimeter larger than those on the stainless rod. Moreover, the stainless spring seems to be a bit stronger than the original one. I'm not sure if this is a cause of the problems I had but that's a fact. After 350 shots I removed the stainless rod and re-installed the original one. I guess, that much better solution would be to buy a spare original plastic rod/spring instead of a stainless one. The problem is that I couldn't find on the internet a supplier that could have it in stock.
