Looking at purchasing my first handgun. I'm kinda stuck between these three. I'm looking for any input. I want something durable. From what I've read you can't go wrong with the glock. But just looking for input from cgn community . Hopefully you all can help me narrow down my choice.

I owned a ppq, and I own a Glock and M&P 9.

I think the PPQ has the best of everything in a handgun.
I said this before:
The Big Four in my opinion:
Glock 17 - 2009 and earlier is a legendary gun.. 2013 and newer are supposed to be good to go too.
PPQ - Still kind of rare. Best trigger out of the four. I'm waiting for the 5inch model.
P30 - Many people consider this to be the best 9mm produced today. It costs more and mags are pricey. This does scare people away. My Glock and former PPQ have better triggers than the P30 LEM.
M&P9 - More utilitarian than a glock. People who put themselves into harms way for a living choose this gun to defend themselves. Although not exclusive to this gun, it does speak volumes. I'm also fascinated by reading m4carbine.net where many people would gladly spend $2500 on their personal AR15 but have trouble spending more than the cost of an M&P9 for their CCW.

PPQ vs M&P9 vs Glock vs P30; It is like picking out a shovel at Walmart. Ultimately, they are all designed to make holes and they all succeed at that task.

They're probably all satisfactory, but most would probably agree that the G17 and M&P9 have a longer history of being a proven design. The Glock probably has the edge in that argument (at least the latest Gen4s). But the most important thing is how well you shoot each. Head in to one of your local gunshops (or several) and handle or preferably fire each of them. You'll see that each has a distinct feel, from grip angle and position of controls, to feel of the trigger and ease of takedown.
 
The obvious answer is at least two of the three. Preferably all three. I have a gen 4 Glock and I'm considering an M&P9 ( Which was the gun I was going to buy until the Glock convinced me otherwise). I prefer the stock trigger on the Glock, but if you upgrade to the Apex kit in the M&P, it's a toss up IMHO.

You should go into a gun store and handle all 3 of them and then decide, the most important thing is how it fits in your hand.
Or if you can goto a range and try shooting each one before you buy your own that is even better.
 
No experience with PPX (I have shot a P99 tho) and owned M&P and still have the Glock gen4. But handle all 3 and go from there!
 
If you like all of them, buy all three!

Glock is the winner in durability and was my first choice. I like having the Advantage Arms 22 conversion kit so I can practice with it much cheaper. That kit will cost you about $300 from Irunguns.ca when they have it in stock.

I don't like the M&P personally, but that's just me. I shoot the Glock better than my friends M&P and I like the Glock's feel better. Tried a PPQ first gen at a range in Vegas and fell in love. That will be my next gun, but probably the M2 version. But I will never sell my Glock.
