How are these as far as reliability and QC? I am thinking of getting either this or P226. Any opinions out there on pros an cons of either one?

You can't beat the Q5 for accuracy and quality of manufacture. I bought mine last year and have enjoyed it ever since.
 
I have a regular PPQ Navy and it is my go-to for IDPA and general shooting. It's very accurate and a dream to shoot. I ran it VERY hard on an advanced pistol/CCW course in Arizona last year and it was every bit as reliable as the five Glocks on the course.

I also have a p226 Xtreme which shoots great, but it is MUCH heavier and I find it much clunkier.

I would strongly recommend the PPQ ahead of the Sig, especially at current prices.
 
Thanks guys. Went out and put my mitts on both yesterday. Both look like quality pieces. Both fit my hand very well. Could feel the weight in the 226. I did lie the Q5 sight radius more. Ended up leaving with the Walther so will be giving it a good cleaning and hopefully out to the range on Thursday. What ammo does well in this?
