I know quite a vew of the CGN members have purchased the Walther PDP and have been extremely satisfied. That being said I have always had a eye on the PDP and I'm really drawn towards the New (SD Pro version). Need to get one in hand.

We have a lot of go to Walther Guru's and I am waiting for their reviews on this unit. I love my PDP compact so I could very easily be adding this to my collection.

I'm intrigued to learn more on this model, came across a video talking about "loose tolerances" in the slide area. He did mention that he felt that it wasn't an issue. Have you come across this with your model or could it be the models with the longer slide?

I've had the Full Size 4.5" for a little over a week.

While in battery, my slide has about 1/32" side to side play in the front.

When the slide is locked back, there is no play whatsoever.

I have only shot 150 rounds through mine so far, but it does not appear to affect accuracy at 15 meters.

Don't worry about slide play, they are the most accurate polymer gun produced, almost as accurate as my Sig X5 XSeries...it is actually really annoying.

Thus far I have to agree.

In spite of my limited time behind the trigger of the PDP, my grouping is as good, if not slightly better as it is with my P226 Legion DA/SA RXP and P320 XFull RXP (with tungsten grip), both with Romeo1Pro.
