Walther Sporter .22

I was offered one for $750 in mint shape but i know nothing about them. I know the name means quality but how do they shoot and is that a good price? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi. $750 seems to be the going retail rate. There's one in an Ontario gun shop with target sights at $750. Don't think I'd part with that much unless I was shooting in serious competitions. That's just me, of course.
How well it'd shoot would depend on the ammo.

Had one 6 years ago, sold it for $750, and wish I didn't sell it. It was the second most accurate .22 I had ever had. Does it have nice furniture to boot?

Bronco it all depends what model, what type of triggers, type of stock, sights, mounts are they original Walther rings? How many extra mags are being sold with it?

Look at it this way, what can you buy new for the exact same quality as this Walther? This should help you make your descion!

They're nice... Just about bought one locally for $575... back off because I couldn't find spare magazines at a reasonable price ($200 isn't reasonable to me)
