Just picked up the Walther Talon. Aka: Hatsan 125. It has the quattro trigger.

Only got about 30 shots through and having problems shooting it; as in, it will #### but not fire.

Had it happen before. Tried flicking safety on and off, trigger depresses but nothing happens. Having a hard time reengaging safety. Had this happen before, and tried recocking it, and something caught, (or let go) and the spring released. Backed off the trigger adjustments one full turn, but nothing. Is this a trigger issue, anti-bear trap problem, or a safety problem?

Help, airgun experts! Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Problem resolved. (Quite a while ago!) Took it back and got it exchanged; good customer service at Cabelas (Edmonton). The knowledge could stand to come up a little, but over all, fairly painless.

Put some slightly lower rings on the gun and it is a hammer. Takes some getting used to with all the spring torque, but seems to have potential. Quite powerful; will punch through 3/4" plywood launching a 31 gr. pellet at 680(?) fps IIRC.

Wow, thats nearly 32fpe lots of power for a springer. Hopefully those heavy pellets don't cause problems for your spring.

Hopefully not! I read mostly good things about it. This one has some kind of buffer built into the stock. For sure the spring has some snap, but it sounds solid, and not too loud or rattley. I read about scope mounting difficulties, but I put some decent rings on it and had just enough clearance to get the ring stop behind the one ring. I think it'll be ok.
