Walther target rifle

Depends on the model as far as price goes , but thhe Walther us a good rifle, yes.
If I was looking for one I would be prepared to pay about $450 for a standard rifle....

Walthers are very good rifles. I have one. They compare favourably with Anschutz and Feinwerkbau.
Is the one you're considering a standard rifle or free rifle [butt hook etc.]? Your local gun store should have a copy of Gun Trader or Blue Book of Gun Values. Ignore the US origin. The prices listed will give you a general idea. From there it's whatever the market will bear. I've seen a very wide range of asking prices in Walthers - from $200 to $1400.

I am dealing with a Walther target rifle. It is a single shot with a heavy barrel, wood stock with globe front sight and Anschutz peep sight. I am looking for 500-600 dollars. Is it a good target rifle ? Is the price good ? Thanks.

What part of the country are you in?
Pricing depends on how badly you want to sell it.
Assuming good condition, under $500 it should sell fairly quickly. Over $500, it will take a while. There are a couple around $600 in the exchange forum that have been there for a while.
Single shot .22's are a hard sell - to move quickly they have to be priced right.

They show up in the stores for $450 to $500.

K98,

I have a KK100 that I got used, (barely used :D ) it is a beautiful rifle, very well balanced and, needless to say, accurate. The trigger is adjustable in almost any conceivable way.

My daughter is using it and has no problems getting 1.5" groups at 25m, offhand, and she is a skinny 14yo. It is a bit lighter than the Feinwerkbau and the trigger has more adjustablility. I don't think you would go wrong.

I was seriously thinking of getting a KK100 from Illingworth Imports and it is available in right-hand or ambidextrous versions but I checked and now all they have left is the ambidextrous versions so I'm not sure if I want one or not now. I'll have to do some very serious pondering on this. Suggestions anyone?
