Walther WA 2000

Hah! It is in 308 WIN, JP should be by soon!
I wonder why HK made so many parts out of wood? It would seem that they never intended to sell these mass produced or the ones they did make were essentially demonstration models.

Definitely one of my favourite rifles. I had a chance to buy one in 308 for 35K. Wish I could have. Maybe some day.

Thanks theED for sharing! That's a very beautiful rifle you have there.

This is definitely PoCo and definitely the "famous" Roger... "Nemo" on CGN, "hippo939" on Youtube. He hardly ever brings this beast up (I haven't seen it in years, even though I see him just about every week or two). I know you Aprilla Man, I'm surprised you haven't met Roger. You must not go up on Saturdays. Everyone else that has been going there for years knows him. If you see me up there I will introduce you to him

I don't know about that. "Don't hate the player. Hate the game.":p

He is Canadian. His kids all grew up in Canada, etc. He's a good guy. In my work I've dealt with plenty of younger guys whose parents are from China, Taiwan, Korea, etc., are loaded, and they never worked a day in their lives. Roger definitely doesn't fall into that category (including the "younger" part :p)

I always joke that I got "Roger-disease" from hanging around with him too much: so now I have an AW, HK MR308A3, SSG69, Stery Scout, SAN carbine, M4, 9mm AR, 5 HK P7's, an HK P9... and on and on... at least my wife is understanding.

There is another friend of ours... who just works a regular job... and he has a real HK G36, a real HK UMP, a Mark 23, a CZ 750 and a bunch of other stuff... I think he got "Roger disease". You've got to be careful about hanging around with that guy too long. You start to want the best, and see it as realistic!

BTW, Awesome .308 WA 2000.... I'm saving these pics on my computer. That's how awesome it is!

I have watched almost all Roger's video on you tube.
Like him, at a lower level, I do have quite a nice collection of rifles and handguns.
If he ever read this thread, I would like to thank him personally for sharing all his rare collection of rifles and handguns with others.
His Erma-Werke SR 100 and Mauser SR 93 are awesome.
Feel free to save the pictures on your computer gosthie which don't pay tribute to the rifle. When you have the WA 2000 in hand, it is kind of impressive.
The quality of assemblies and engineering has been pushed to a very high level.
On a side note gosthie, the quote for the first generation of WA 2000 is much lower than the second one.

What a beautiful collection gosthie !
We have got some in common like the AWSM (mine is black though).
I also recently welcomed a swiss arms too (the sniper version).
If the H&K MR308A3 would have been NR, I would love getting one too. What a beauty !
I do not know Roger (would like it though) but will blame him too ! Might work a little bit when my wife starts complaining about the traditional "you bought another one !......again !".
Then it usually cost me a purse or new pair of shoes if I want having something else than spaghettis for diner !
This dramatically increases the price of my rifles :)

Hiya Ghostie,

Only been to the Poco Range 1 time I always do my shooting at the Mission Range. I would love to drop by and chat and meet Roger. Hope to see some of his collections. Kinda worries me though ... I might end up with the "Roger-disease" as well if I meet him hahahaha .... The CADEX Rifle or a PGW might end up in my safe. LOL

There's enough cadex rifles there too.... I was lucky enough to be there when another member brought his brand new one out. I put 3 rounds through it, so damn awesome.. He was drooling over my scope, I was drooling over his rifle!
