WALTZ die owners raise your hands

The gentle that bought the business from Walter had a massive fire that destroyed his machine shop last year. He is just starting to “get back at it” . Rimfire central has a thread with the whole history etc

Hey lpel-I ordered directly from Neal maybe 4-5 years ago. Didn't get any replies to my email, so I called him. Had a nice, but short chat. He is (was?) a retired tool and die maker, and only making these in small batches when the mood struck. (my words, not his) He was in no rush to crank them out, so you either had to wait..or you got lucky when you finally got a hold of him. (if he had a few spares) I remember sending him a US money order that covered shipping cost. I've called him a few times recently, no answer...and I think the # is no longer his.
Thank you for getting back to me.

Funny thing. I just used mine today to do some mods to a 100 count red box of super X 1330 fps. Enlarged the HP for better expansion. Also did some flat nose mods to some 333 Win Bulk just for $hits and giggles. Gopher season is upon us.

Back to the gopher fields. Moved into small town Sask. Seven minutes from one of my old pastures. Did 200 Blazer rounds with the Waltz HP die. My Anschutz 1710DKL doesn't do Win bulk. Too bad there were a couple guys out twice before me. Only got 44. Gotta love that POK sound on a solid hit with the HP's.
