One of a couple dozen I took while on my QL6a at Colt Canada, I got a bunch more if anyone is interested.

Okay, one more for now....

The US SFW is actually the UK L119A1. You can tell because of the solid base front sight assembly. It was designed by Diemaco to use with the H&K AG-C grenade launcher. Which attaches to the bayonet lug.

The CT is junk, the SFW are good to go.

LOL If you say so, there was about 200 years worth or weapons tech experience in that vault and we all thought it was pretty damn sweet, but I guess you likely know more than I since I never shot it or seen it shoot, just going off looking it over and the Colt specs. It may in fact be junk, but it sure looks cool :D

As for the US Special Forces weapon, that's one of them, I don't remember what branch though, I was on overload in Colts Vault.

Just curious.

How much "field time" do weapons techs get?

I would much rather trust the opinion of someone who has "been there done that" so to speak like Reaper.

Now the workmanship might be bang on and for that I would trust the tech but for functionallity???

bit by all means.

POST MORE PICS!!!! EYE CANDY!

Whatever, I won't argue, I don't know Reaper. (*edit* Okay NM I am out to lunch Reaper is not from SW On)I see Stormbringer is in SW On though ,I would love to meet him. As a matter of a fact I will send off a PM as soon as I post this. As for field time, that all depends on the unit.

Garand, you're dating your self ya old bugger!

LOL anyways, here's more "Eye Candy"

This is a 5.56 designed for JTF for cave fighting, thats 5.56 next to a MAC 9mm for size comparison

I find it hard to believe that the CSF rifle is that mini. What bbl length is that anyways??

I think the barrel is around 4", but I don;t remember, I should have been taking notes, but as I mentioned I was on sensory overload.

I was hands on with that little mini-gun. Cute, but really needs a suppressor to be effective, don't you think?

The C7CT I fired a few years ago was, um, not so impressive. Shot 2 MOA with IVI at 100m. That was the average group size for about 20 people or so firing it, all of them competitive marksmen with lots of experience.

Greenman,
Thanks for posting the pics...very cool!

Wouldn't you like to go on a 10 minute shopping spree in that vault.
I know i'd fill my cart!

I am surprised that the JTF would have such short barrel lengths... doesn't that completely negate the 5.56NATO?

I always thought the short barrels were just for the LCF (which is why I am surprised to see them as our elite's choice of weapon for cave clearing, etc.)

Lots of fun on that tarp

wow the M3 is finally back together :p ...more guys on the 6A course have broken that damn cocking lever off then I can count

and why don't you have one of the FNC's on that tarp? last time I was at the school there was still a rack full on them..but then its been afew years since I was there

The short barrelled wonder was not designed by the JTF for cave fighting,it is a prototype PDW,and is meant to be fired with a supressor. It was a Diemaco entry into the first failed trials, although it seems that some idiot is still pushing for the program to carry on.
