Wanna a see a cool rifle??

LOL, well thats what I get for listening to the guys at Colt/Diemaco. Just FYI, all those pics, came from a tour of Colt and the info is simply what was passed on to us. We all got a chance to look the weapons over, do some hands on, but all the background came from the Colt guys. So if it's out to lunch, well, thats it I guess. Hell I just wanted to show some pics.

and why don't you have one of the FNC's on that tarp?
Probably on the firing line.

...The C7CT I fired a few years ago was, um, not so impressive. Shot 2 MOA with IVI at 100m. That was the average group size for about 20 people or so firing it, all of them competitive marksmen with lots of experience.
NS

Didn't your 11.5" do about a 4" grouping at 300 yards? with 55gr IVI on the range two years ago? I beleive it did.

The story is that Uzi took the MP9 design to diemaco for further development, and then Ruger bought it out afterwards.

Ruger was going to manufacture the MP9 in Canada. Then decided to drop the project all together.

The short barrelled wonder was not designed by the JTF for cave fighting,it is a prototype PDW,and is meant to be fired with a supressor.
I assume it would be some sort of reflex suppressor that wraps back around the barrel, hence the M203 handguard?

Seems to me that you'd have to be a shorter man to use that "cave-fighting M4". I think I'd be too tall to hold that thing comfortably up to my shoulder and still be able to see through the sight. It's still neat though..

The last thing I'd want to do it let that thing loose inside a cave. Can you say permanent hearing damage?

With a 4" barrel there is no room for a can to reflex back over the barrel. FWIW the cyclic rate of this little beast is around 1500 rpm. :)

Reaper, where did you get that picture? The can is an older generation AU Z-Jet from Canadian Tactical

Here is a pic of a C7CT that actually went to Afghanistan and it went with an Ase Utra Z-Jet suppressor as supplied by Canadian Tactical, unlike the Knights can on the Colt version in the first pic of this thread.
