Wanna make money ? Use my idea

I suspect you would have a hard time making that work because the 10/22 feed lips are canted at an angle and the bolt is machined to work with that angle. I don't have a GSG16 to compare with, but assuming its mag lips are square like most are it is unlikely to feed correctly with the slant cut 10/22 bolt.

I'd be happy to be wrong, but feeding properly usually takes everything being spot on and it won't be in this case.

Just working on the mag release currently. The angle and fitting were a big part of the battle. Seems to feed/extract reliably with cci ammo that I’ve tested it with. I do currently have a tester lined up as well as myself to do some r&d. I will keep everyone posted. Just to get an idea, what do you feel is a realistic price point for this adapter based on what’s currently available for the Ruger by spectre or any others?
 
I agree, the 597 magazines are junk and just look absolutely ridiculous. The gsg mags are much nicer and also have a drum mag available. If this generates enough interest maybe they’ll start importing them again.
 
Id be interested in trying that adapter in my adler, I've got thousands of rounds through it and really believe the mags could be the hold up.
As for price, if it's a 3D printed part I'll keep fighting with the 597 mags
Otherwise price like SBIs imo
 
Plus it would be nice to run smaller, quality magazines that can be changed with a magazine release in a competition setting out of a chest rig. Those drums are large and cumbersome and like mentioned before, expensive
