The handgun part of Wanstalls big used gun sale is up.

I just grabbed a nice S&W 25-2 in the case with full tool set. I've wanted one of these 25's in 45acp for a long time :d:d:d

Congrats Sailor! I also have looked for a long time for a 625-2 Model of 1988 and recently picked one up. Waiting for an order of moon clips to show up. Post up some pics when you get it bud!

Very. The P210’s are ridiculous. Trade Ex had very similar guns 6 months ago for $500-$1000 less. I suspect reductions will be coming shortly.

Hard to say about the price on the 210-6 target as I've never seen one offered before. As to the regular 210 I agree it seems a bit steep. I thought Tradex had them with 2 mags and an issue Swiss holster for $2695 the last time they had stock? At that price they sold out rapidly.

The 25-2 did seem at the upper end of reasonable to me but with the case and all tools present I decided not to let the opportunity pass. I'd wanted one for awhile and you usually only see them in 45LC rather than 45acp.

If that was a 6 1/2" early model 25, you'd have come away cheap!

It's a dash 2 version made from 1961 till 1984, the 6.5" barrel was discontinued in late 1979-early 1980 with the change to a 6" barrel so a 6" is actually rare compared to the 6.5" that was made from the introduction of the 1955 model in March 1955. The most uncommon version is the 6" pinned and recessed as the P&R features were gone in 1982, still the dash 2 variation continued till 1984. It was replaced in 1988 with the introduction of the dash 6.

As a side note, all even dash numbers are ACP/AR chambering (except the scarce and early dash 1 made in 1960 only), odd dash numbers are .45 Colt chambering introduced in 1977 with the 25-3 (125th anniversary model). Prior to 1977 very few .45 Colt were factory ordered, tho some of the ACP/AR M25's were customized to shoot .45 Colt cartridges.

Well U-784 caught my attention and I couldn't resist...

Had two of these ultra rare 5" Stocking Dealer Specials 625-5 in .45 Colt at one time and foolishly sold them last year on the EE. These are rare has hens teeth, only 1550 made in 1993 only. They are fetching big bucks in US auctions when they show up.

One is at $2000 on gunbroker right now with 4+ days left on the clock.

Congrats on the find!

Probably a better buy than mine but I'm a sucker for blued revolvers with wooden target grips.;)

As a customer in the store yesterday said, "I can resist anything except temptation" (Oscar Wilde quote, I think.) If I'd seen a 25 in .45 Colt I'd have been awfully tempted. I have a 625-8 in ACP/AR already, so I'm not suffering too much, though.
