He has the same mount on his 20mm canon. more than capable of the job asked of it. The rifle actually seems very well built and solid for such a economically priced 50BMG. LOL.

Overall its built very nice, i like the grey color, weighs more than i expected (ive only held 1 50bmg before purchasing this), and the breach cap is smooth and easy to work with. Plan is putting a nikon black x1000 and running some vortex low rings for the time being. Work is crazy right now so hopefully shoot it by the end of the month.
 
This company makes a bolt-action 50.
Why the h€[[ would anyone buy a break-action ?
And why the h€[[ wouldn’t retailers stock the bolt gun ???

Go look at prices of the bolt action 50s... The DA50 which i think is the cheepest bolt 50 comes in at 2500. Almost 1000 more than a RN50. I dont know what a Serbu BFG bolt 50 would cost... Like 4000CAD?
 
Well if an RN-50 is $1600 here and $1200 usd on the Serbu website, the bolt action being $2400 should make it roughly $3200 here, considering some of the cost is import, etc fees that wouldn't be doubled, right around $3000 is pretty reasonable to upgrade to the bolt action. You just can't find them ever.
 
Fair enough ...$2400US is not on an equal footing.

I wonder though, with all the fine Canadian manufacturers,
...why no one is able to come up with a domestic, affordable, single shot, 50bmg bolt gun?
 
Our current shipment is in the process of being cleared into Canada and should be at the shop soon and they will be shipped out ASAP. If anyone else is interested in getting one this spring/summer, let me know as we are submitting our next or early next week. The can be custom built in the exact configuration of your choice...see HERE

Another shipment just cleared and we should have the pre orders out today. There are three still available if interested..

1 x 22" barrel with bi pod and no butt stock and 0 MOA rail $1749
2 x 29" barrel with Bi pod and serbu butt stock installed , 0 MOA rail $1949

any AR type Buttstock can put installed ...contact me today and we can have them out ASAP!!
