Wanstalls Exclusive: 12" Tombstone SxS Shotgun

I was in the store today, just happened to be in the neighborhood!
Beautiful looking shotgun!! Very tempting that's for sure.

Well, I got my TombStone today. To say this thing is a tiny package is a understatement. Pictures on here do not do it justice. Its tiny. Im guessing a shoulder breaker for sure. I havnt shot mine yet, but i did clean it up as i always do with new guns. My only complaint is there sounds like something sliding up and down inside the barrel, not the barrel itself where the bullet comes out but between the two of them , where they are put together. Its a cannon for sure. You can slide the safety to the left or right to decide which bbl you want to fire first. Then its semi auto for two rounds lol. Feels like a Mad Max shotgun to be honest.

I just handled another Turkish short shottie at CT. 12ga, 2.75" or 3", over under, black synthetic stocks, FO front sight, top picattini with two side mounted rails on the barrels (18")...kind of tackool. $500. The receiver is steel, but the butt stock end where the receiver rests when closed seemed aluminum to me (the duck part on the tombstone) Is there aluminum on this tombstone?
The reason I bring this one up is that like the tombstone, its Turkish, and the break lever isn't centered either. When handling I noticed that the lever only swings counter clock wise. The older side by sides I've held the lever will swing in either direction to open the action and is centered. Does the tombstone only open with a counter clockwise rotation of the lever?

Looks like a much higher quality class of gun than the Dominion Arms "Outlaw" SxS 12 gauge which was cheap Chinese made junk.
The "Outlaw" sold for less than $300 when I bought mine.
I sold it for $375 at the gun range.
Made myself a little profit.

18 inch is a deal breaker for me ( would not have order that lenght, since i have a Citori 26 inch), what make the Tombstone perfect is the 12 inch lenght... JP.

Sounds like a store double defence made in Brazil?

I got a magnet to try it out as i think aluminum is non-magnetic. All parts of the gun the magnet stuck too, other then the wood stock of course. And it was hard to tell with the trigger. The part with the birds on it is steel. To open the lever has to be pushed to the right, so counter clockwise, and it only opens that direction.

Thanks GunGuy. @ Coupe; the gun I held was clearly marked Turkey, and has the same controls as this Yildiz. I suspect the companies are either sharing parts, or in fact the same manufacturer, with different branding/ off shoots.
I'll be keeping an eye out for these shot guns and await range reviews with baited breath.

I have one.
Good gun.

nice gun, with a 12" barrel , it' s a winner for sure.

If the gun spoken of is the same quality as my Rossi Overland SxS 12 gauge then it's a good gun.
If it is manufactured in Brazil it's likely that it was made in the Rossi factory which also makes the Rossi 92 carbine and Rossi Ranch Hand Mare's Laig rifles.
Pretty decent guns but quality control isn't the greatest.

I handled one of these guns and the fit and finish is excellent. The action is smooth and solid, locks up tight. A high quality shotgun. If you have the money to spend you will not be disappointed.

Only change I might suggest is if these are being custom made for the Canadian market maybe change the duck motif to something incorporating a bear and a maple leaf? Not sure if it's economical to do that but it would be cool
