Wanstalls Exclusive: 12" Tombstone SxS Shotgun

While not perfect, the fact that the barrels are regulated parallel to each other is a big positive. Once a robust higher front sight is installed it'll be fine.

I wouldn't mind on a $300 Norinco Outlaw, but needing to fix a brand new $850 gun right out of the box?

Here is a print of mine from 25 yards
hplWIq7.jpg

Six slugs two buckshot and two number 4 pellets

I would like to see the barrels indexed a little closer together they seem to be shooting outward, or would that be normal? IDK this is my first sawed off double barrel lol

Here is how my Outlaw prints with 2 3/4" slugs at 25 yards. The slugs (3 per side) are circled and the right barrel is on the right, the left barrel on the left. POA is the centre of each target.

The green circled holes are buck shot, ignore them.

The barrels are not parallel.

My suggestion to Gary was a brass post of .425 in height, with the same original tread with a stopper, the .425 would be above the stopper and it would be a simple brass post, thus the ability of filing a little bit of or not off, to make it 6 inch high at 25 yards that would put it right on at 50 yards, those are the measurements of my teflon one and it it ideal this way... JP.
Seriously............if you want a 50 yard gun, buy something totally different, this is not it man!!!!!!

Have you looked into some sort of choke solution Geo? Probably not worth the cost for a Norinco but if you like the gun it might be worth looking into?
Apparently there are a few smiths in the states who can regulate double barrel guns with custom chokes.
It would be cool to have something that you could rotate until both barrels come together where you want them and then loctite.

On another note I wonder if it would help a guy shopping for cheap doubles to bring along 2 12 guage chamber lasers... :)
I'm sure they are not all the same.

You know...you can scope a double rifle so why not a shotgun, there you go. Accuracy problem solved. Good to 100 yards and beyond now !

Here's my Trailer Park Boys/Red Green (literally) solution.

I installed a HiViz magnetic rail bead onto the rail behind the Outlaw's bead. The HiViz raises the bead height.

The right barrel shoots on POA (windage wise) at 25 yards so it only needed an elevation correction. I aim the right barrel with the green tube.

The red tube on the left (JB Welded on - oh so elegant!) is used for aiming the left barrel which shot high and left.

It's not perfect nor elegant but for paint cans at 10 yards it works great!

Problem solved for mine... One 22 LR steel sight, modified to fit perfectly between the barrels... The original gold bead is the anchor, hole drilled into the metallic sight to completly secured the unit over the bead... JB Weld solidly with a press for 20 hours... Cleaning is what left to do... Yellow applied for high visibility... The whole unit is .425 high, is almost snag free and will be dam solid... JP.

JB Weld, the CGners best friend!

Nice job JP, let us know how she groups please.

I will, after scientific calculations i figured that at .420 my teflon post was shooting 4-6 inch high at 25 yards but the post was wide at the top ,so harder to be precise, i made this one at .425 and the blade is very narrow, it should be right on since we know the barrels are well regulated...
