So I ordered the Mossberg Tactical .22 on Sunday January 6th. Received a call from them on Tuesday regarding an error on the order form. We sorted that out and they told me it'd be shipped right away. Received my gun on Friday. Went out to shoot it today (-25 wasn't too much fun), and works like a charm. I was worried based upon others reviews, but it worked flawlessly. Thanks Wanstalls for the excellent service. Will definately be buying from you guys again.
 
That's good to hear I've ordered from them before and they're great. Would you recommend the mossberg .22 you picked up? I'm looking to pick up a .22 and i'm interested in one of those.

First time shooting it today, and works great. It's mostly plastic, but it's a good plinker, and for the money, you can't go wrong. Now I just gotta try and find extra mags for it.
 
I've dealt with Wanstall's too and no complaints. They are all personable behind the counter which makes for a great browsing/buying experience. Hopefully they don't lose this way of dealing with customers as some gun shops have.
 
I will chime in too. Went there on a busy saturday with a friend as I was looking for a pistol to get started in IPSC. Kind of intimidating buying a firearm for the first time, especially with how busy the store was, but Craig gave us all the time and attention as if there were no other customers in the store. Great experience, great advice, and I ended up with a CZ75 shadow, and a Remington 870 for fun. :) Also when I came back tuesday to actually make my purchase, the younger guy I was dealing with got me the goods to get my short term ATT and pickup the CZ75 the same day, no waiting! Thanks Wanstalls!
 
I also bought my first gun there last saturday. It was crazy busy but they hooked me up well. I got a good laugh out of a older lady swinging around an AR yellin "I better git one of these before it's too late!".
 
I got my 590A1 from them last summer...hassle free service and they shipped it out promptly. Would definitely buy from them again.
 
I just got my Mossberg 715T from them last week and took it to the range yesterday. It was amazing! And the Wanstalls service was great too. Second gun from them, could not be happier.
 
I bought my mossberg tactical flattop there plus extra mags from them. Got it in a week. Great first purchase! And it's an awesome rifle.

I recently purchased accessories (holster and magazines) online from Wanstalls and another supplier. Wanstalls service was great - good communication, order shipped next day. The other dealer, not so much - no communication, shipped a week after the order was placed only after I sent an email asking about it, no response at all to my email. Next time, Wanstalls will get my business (and I will never again bother with that other dealer).
 
Just visited the store and met the lads today for the first time, walked out with a gorgeous new rifle and definitely had one of my best experiences ever in a gun shop. Thanks Wanstalls, five star.

I had my first experience at the actual store yesterday! Defiantly worth the hour drive.
My best experience in a gun store too
 
I asked Wanstalls to put asside a Chiappa take-down mare's leg in .44 mag for me while I was in Afghanistan. They were happy to do so and also gave me a military discount when I returned. I found their communications to be prompt and they are evidently engaged with their customers. When I finally went there to get the gun in person, they were excellent to deal with. Albeit that their store was a zoo (very busy!), they nevertheless gave the appropriate attention and didn't make me feel like I was getting pumped through a sausage machine (like has happened at larger gun stores). An excellent first experience and I will definitely condsider buying from them again.
 
The only issue I have with them is they are not in Alberta :)
Still, I spend my share, and then some, lately!
