Want a brand new K98K?

welp. only 3000 euro and for that you get #### phosphate finish and the late war #### barrel band?

hard pass!

8x33, 8x57IS, 7.62x51.
If the computer translation was correct, the stocks and barrels are new, while machined parts are pre-war?

new barrel, new stock. Actions a pre war K98 without play.

it doesnt say about the other little pieces and my guess would be they are refurb

No worries, I vetted that rifle a while ago with some serious sniper collectors. While its not original, it is still a fair rifle at that price.

About a year ago this same company had an East German K98 'marksman' rifle for sale. With a German scope mount and optics not unlike WW2 issue.
I don't think thier asking price was unreasonable either.
Certainly not $4900ish.

There’s no Dirty Birds on the rifle, they forget to put them on! Lol

I wonder how this replica compares to the original? Performance, Fit, Finish, Accuracy, Reliability...

The price is nothing to get excited about.

The finish on the wood and the blueing looks off from the originals.

It’s cool that someone made a replica, but....it’s like Boobs, are they Real or Fake!!!

its not really a replica. Its a gen action with many gen parts and they put new barrels in. they also use reproduction stocks which probably are identical to gen stocks.

there is a guy in eastern europe who makes k98 stocks and they are pretty much 100%.

I am sure most of the bits and pieces are taken from the donor rifle. So really what you have is a tight tolerance (as they say) K98 with a new stock and new barrel. Likely touched up and blued.

Why this cost 3000 euro is another question.

How much is a nice donor K98? probably the biggest cost here. lets say 1000 euro. a new stock can be had for 250 euro and barrel? maybe another 200 euro. So they are 1500 euro of parts in. the rest is small stuff, labor and profit.

so all in all its more like a refurb

It’s like a Winchester Commemorative Rifle at Best or Worst! Lol

You either like it or you don’t. I prefer the real deal.
