How do these look to you guys? To me, it indicates a mild load. Am I correct? I'm used to nicely flattened primers with a nice little firing pin dent. These here seem are really dented, almost looks alongolated. Don't know what to think.
Loaded ammo were 40gr Berger Match Varmint, with 25.8gr IMR 8208, which was my beginning load. Overall length 2.250 inches. The primers I used are older Winchesters if that means anything.
The Hodgson wesite indicates a min load of 25gr and max of 26.8 for 40's.
