Hi, Guys:
I am going to buy this NIKON 3-9*40 BDC150 scope with my coming Ruger 10/22 .22lr, anyone has the experience about this combination?

I just bought one but yet to try it. Seems from the spot on app, that the bdc reticle is calibrated for cci stingers. I was going to put it on my rem 597 in a pair of QD rings.to do this I would need to remove the rear sight or use high rings which I hate. I think I will try it on my bolt. .22 mag with cci vmax at 2200. The spot on calculator says the bdc should work well with this load. I wish it was niko plex. Have 2 nikons with bdc and not really struck on it. I will add that the scope is a bit heavy for rimfire

I have one on my Savage MKII, couldn't be happier with it. I haven't used the spot on app, but after using it quite a bit the BDC is pretty useful for full zoom 200 yard shots (i just use standard high velocity rounds)

I have the 4-12x rimfire and it rocks! Great quality glass, and the BDC 150 reticle with the use of the spot on app is bang on. I have mine zero'd at 25 yards and So far I've used the BDC reticle out to 170 yards with 3 different types of ammo and they're all ringing the 5"x6" plate 9 outta 10 times. The reticle on 4x can be used to about 250 yards if I recall correctly. Just the way it maps out in the "spot on" calculator.

For the money, this scope can't be beat.

I have the 3x9 on my 1022 and while it works not bad I prefer cranking up my turrets on my 3 bolt 22lr. Once you have learned to master the turrets and know how much moa to add I find it much more accurate than hold overs. You can get a 4-16 BDC reticle vortex cross fire ii for a little over $300 and you get AO for that. I was shooting clays at 170 yds today and after cranking my turret up I was hitting them and the left overs about 1 in 3 shots and it was windy. CCI mini mags 40g sp.

I have had the 3-9x40 BDC 150 on my CZ 512 for about a year. The scope is little larger and heavier than let's say a small Leupold Rimfire but I really like it for hunting and plinking. The optics quality is excellent for a scope that's under $200. I find the BDC reticle too thick for shooting small targets at 50 m but otherwise its an awesome scope that will serve you well.
