I recently bought a new scope that only came in FDE (all tjat was in stock). While everything else I own is od green, or some sort of green camo (rifle/range stuff). Obviously I prefer od green so changing my chassis is out of the question. I rather not have a brand new item painted a different colour, and I'm worried about warranty.

Then I remembered alot of decal places use 3m wrap for cars, is there something like that but for firearms and accessories? Who would be the one to do this in Canada?

you could check out camo form, im sure there are also adhesive decals that can wrap around it, but a professionally done duracoat or cerakote job or even a hydro dip will look way better and i doubt it would affect resale, if anything it may increase it. as for warranty maybe contact the mfg and ask, and get their reply in writing (or email, just have something with their name on paper) before having it coated.

I should probably have mentioned that the scope in question is a Schmidt and Bender pmii 5-25x56mm. I would rather pay once and have it good to go than try to diy. I tried vinyl wrapping my car, I didn't get past the trunk lid, so I rather not diy this.

then go for camo form or "camo wraps". its sticks to itself, not to the scope, its the same stuff as that brown bandage stuff you put on a sprained anckle (having a brain fart and cant think of the name). this way you wont be doing anything to the scope itself and you can just remove the wrap. but if you want something that looks nicer i suggest cerakote. check out backwoods gunsmithing in ontario or probably a ton of other guys across the country for cerakote, duracoat or hydro dips. you will have to send the scope away but the results will be beautiful and durable

I hit my Redfield Revenge with 3-4 coats of green flat spray paint then used a flat clear coat while the last OD coat was still wet.
Just taped it very well and carefully with masking tape.
Let it cure for a couple days at 20 Celsius in the house.
Turned out very well. It took longer to tape properly than to actually paint it
Was black originally.

Armacoat is tough and dont need to cook in oven. Just leave it for 2 weeks on shelf and its fully cured.

duracoat has an air dry version and an oven dry version, i THINK cerakote has an air dry aswell. the duracoat air dry also has a 2 week air cure.

I highly recommend checking with S&B before painting or coating your scope; warranty issues are quite likely.

That said, wraps that can be removed should not be a problem.

I bought some camo form Multicam on amazon.ca. 17$ shipped 2 day so we'll see how it looks this week. I figured for 17$ I could always just wrap MY water bottles and such.

Got the wrap yesterday, put it on in 10 minutes. I used camo form, it doesn't really stick to the surface all that well. But sticks to itself pretty well. Won't win any awards, but did what I wanted less visible FDE.
