A friend wants to obtain one of these grenade launchers and an inert grenade. Any ideas were to find them? Please and thank you.

I know the cups can be found but are not cheap...

I think Springfield Sporters in the states may have some? Not sure who in Canada would have some...

That's a Hales No.11 rod grenade. I was lucky enough to find one in the U.K. many years ago along with a Newton "pippin" No. 22 rod grenade. Lots of luck finding one, and these days it's gonna COST him. I should think the U.K. is the only possibility. If you can find a copy of the "armourer magazine" it should give a list of militaria shops.

Thats a rod grenade, what you see in the pic is all that is needed.
The only one that used a discharger cup was the Mills bomb.
However early in the war, the Mills was also a rod grenade and the sheet metal launcher for it is as easy to find as rocking horse ####e.
{Took me years to find one)
oddly enough from Canada, and I was damm glad to get it.

I seem to recall reading that that particular grenade is particularly hard to find because the body was used building the lightsaber in Star Wars and fanboys kept buying them up to build their own.
