Today was warm and I got the bunker door open. Now have some tracers to share with those who want to play.

These are .308 and .310, 150 gr bullets.

My experience at loading tracer bullets is that a high temperature, high pressure load works best. This translates into using a ball powder and working up until you get reliable ignition.

The last time I shared these bullets, some guys reported almost 100% ignition and other reported almost 100% failure.

My only guarantee is that these are tracer bullets and you will learn something by playing with them.

Price is $40/100, with shipping included.

Quantities are limited. First come, first serve.

How far out do they tend to ignite? If it's 2-300y, then I'll just see a spec before it hits the berm. Would you figure a 7.62x39 cz858 would be able to work well with these?

I test them by shooting straight up , so it is hard to guess where they light. My guess is 100-200 yards.

I have never tried them in a 7.62x39, but I see no reason why they would not work. The tracer is a longer bullet, so you would need a faster than usual powder; load mild and work up till you get ignition.

Note that I said "play" and "learn". Let us know what works.

I am off to Mexico to celebrate my 66th birthday. Those who have paid by EMT will get there packages shipped before I leave.

So far orders are split 50-50 between the two calibers.
